Three guiding principles of computing:
- Computers are good for performing tedious and error-prone tasks
- Garbage in, garbage out
- Computers make excellent slaves, but poor masters
Obviously I did not originate these, but, oddly, you don't often find them together.
"Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic."
I propose that sufficiently advanced stupidity is indistinguishable from evil. Interestingly, this concept is less relative than Clarke's.
